Behind him, ringed sunflowers tilt as one behind a high, gleaming barrier: the wall, both boundary and banner, half boundary, half stage. Confetti and placards fill the air, echoing the undifferentiated approval radiating outward. No critics are visible; their absence is structural. This is the moment joy stops being a claim and becomes the only observable fact.
